Job summary

Merrimack Valley YMCA is hiring a Membership Services Representative to deliver outstanding service at the Welcome Center. You will greet members and guests, promote memberships, handle transactions, and help maintain an inviting lobby. The role emphasizes customer-first interactions and teamwork to support a high quality member experience.

Under supervision, you will participate in ongoing projects, follow YMCA policies, and contribute to a welcoming environment across programs and facilities.

Qualifications

• Interact with people from diverse backgrounds with a welcoming attitude.
• Basic math, cash handling, and balance cash drawer accurately.
• Communicate clearly by phone and in person; follow YMCA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willing to obtain CPR/AED certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants.
• Promote memberships and programs and respond to inquiries.
• Balance cash drawer and handle transactions at the front desk.
• Coordinate with other departments to support member experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Welcome Center.
