Job summary

Excel Fitness in Garner, NC is hiring a versatile team member to help maintain cleanliness, assist members, and support daily operations.

You will handle member check-ins, inventory, and safety procedures, while upholding Excel brand standards and delivering high levels of service in a fast-paced gym environment.

Experience with Microsoft Office and a proactive, customer-focused attitude are preferred; CPR/AED certification is required before lone work may begin, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR Certification and AED Certification are required before working alone.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time.
• Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer.
• Familiar with Excel’s mission, values, vision, and culture, as well as the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Input and update prospective and current member information into tablets and point of sale.
• Audit cash drawers daily.
• Assist GM and AM with club membership promotions, training, and implementation of any operational strategies.
• Ensure the club complies with all state and federal laws and insurance requirements.
• Operate and assist applicable members with the use of equipment, tanning, HydroMassage, Total Body Enhancement, and other amenities while making sure all applicable processes and procedures are adhered to.
• Assist the GM and represent our company at community events and other outreach activities.
