Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking team players to deliver outstanding member service while maintaining a clean, welcoming club environment. You will operate POS tablets, assist with promotions, and ensure adherence to company policies.

The role requires staying current with training and safety certifications, and collaborating with management to optimize daily operations. This position may be full-time or part-time, with varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and AED certification required before working alone; training within first 30 days if uncertified.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods.
• Excellent communication with internal and external customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated and well-organized.
• Able to think critically and solve problems proactively.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer use.
• Able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Familiar with Planet Fitness brand, culture and operating requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to the best of your abilities during each shift.
• Maintain club cleanliness and positive atmosphere.
• Stay proficient with Planet Fitness app, content, and updates.
• Ensure all training is completed for safe and efficient operation.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the club meets standards.
• Perform walkarounds and complete assigned cleaning tasks and re-inspections.
• Input and update member data on tablets and POS accurately.
• Enforce company policies and address infractions.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for members.
• Communicate with members to deliver high-level service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for shifts.
• Assist GM/AM with membership promotions and operational strategies.
