Job summary

Northwest Federal Credit Union in Chantilly, VA seeks a Member Service Representative to handle member transactions and advise on credit union solutions, delivering exceptional service and meeting sales goals.

You will process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing; maintain policy documentation; support cross-team initiatives; and ensure BSA/regulatory compliance while protecting member assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in retail sales or customer service with cash handling.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Process member financial transactions: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing.
• Provide exceptional member experiences and meet sales goals.
• Maintain department policies, procedures and compliance with BSA regulations.
• Identify opportunities to provide product/service solutions to members.
• Collaborate with teams to improve member experience and project visibility.
