Job summary

The Moorings Club Inc. is seeking a attentive Server to provide a positive dining experience for Members in a friendly, efficient manner. You will be attentive to Member needs, promote a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure accuracy in orders and charges.

Responsibilities include knowledge of the menu, wine pairings, transmitting orders, maintaining sanitation standards, serving meals, and assisting during peak times. Must have 2 years food & beverage experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal communication and guest service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and wine pairings to answer guests' questions.
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen while accommodating dietary needs.
• Ensure sanitation and safety policies are followed.
• Maintain table settings and replenish utensils as needed.
• Serve orders when staff are unavailable.
• Address guest needs promptly and professionally.
• Assist with closing duties and end-of-shift reports.
