Job summary

UFC GYM - Downtown Pittsburgh is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to lead member service efforts, oversee front desk activities, and help drive dues growth and retail revenue in a busy health club environment.

You will greet members, manage inquiries, ensure proper check-in procedures, supervise staff, and coordinate promotions with the Operations Manager. A strong customer service mindset and multi-tasking ability are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
CPR/AED certification required.
State certification based on state requirements.
Kid's Club Attendant training prior to working alone in Kid's Club.
6 months’ customer service experience in health club, retail, hospitality or food service.

Responsibilities

Resolve member concerns and complaints professionally within UFC Gym parameters.
Monitor club facilities for appearance and equipment and address issues.
Assist in providing direction to janitorial service.
Drive revenue goals in Dues, Retail, and Juice Bar.
Handle EFT dues bills and follow up with past due accounts.
Plan and implement promotions and merchandising with Operations Manager.
Ensure POS procedures and cash handling are followed.
