Job summary

The Woodruff Arts Center is seeking an Assistant Manager of Member Experience to oversee the 40,000-household membership program and enhance member engagement across events, communications, and on-site experiences.

You will lead members-only events, coordinate member communications with Marketing, and collaborate with the Guest Relations team to drive memberships and sales, while supporting renewals and premium offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in museum membership is required (5 years or more is desired, with a minimum of three years strongly suggested).
• Well-developed writing and interpersonal communications skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills are a high priority.
• Experience in using fundraising software for prospect and contact management strongly preferred (Familiarity with Tessitura a plus).
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential.
• Ability to motivate and create enthusiasm among staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee members-only events and tours for the membership program.
• Plan and manage member communications, including newsletters and publications.
• Oversee on-site member experience and sales in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Lead annual fund campaigns and premium selection and tracking.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Membership.
