Job summary

The American Club of Singapore is seeking a seasoned Gym Operations Lead to create a safe, welcoming and well-managed gym experience. You will uphold high standards of service, etiquette, equipment readiness and overall presentation while driving member engagement.

With 5+ years in a similar setting and recognised fitness certifications, you will manage feedback, coordinate with trainers and staff, and contribute to planning and budgeting for gym initiatives and revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity within retail, hospitality, or members' club environment.
• Fitness certification from ACSM/ACE or equivalent accredited body.
• Sound knowledge of strength and cardiovascular equipment, safe exercise practice and risk management.
• People-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Experience in managing vendors or trainers is advantageous.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage Members, understand their needs and follow up on feedback promptly.
• Promote safe equipment use, proper exercise practices, gym etiquette and policies.
• Oversee daily gym operations, including opening/closing, cleanliness and presentation.
• Coordinate with Personal Trainers and internal teams for smooth gym operations.
• Stay updated on fitness trends and equipment, and recommend improvements.
• Support gym planning, budgeting, revenue initiatives and expenditure management.
