Job summary

Soho House in Los Angeles is seeking a Gym Manager to lead our health club, shaping a premier member experience and driving fitness programming, safety and service excellence.

You will manage a high-performing team, oversee class schedules, PT bookings and facilities, while partnering with other teams to deliver memorable guest experiences. This role requires 5+ years in a fitness environment, Level 3 PT cert, strong leadership, and a hands-on, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a high-profile fitness or wellness environment
• Level 3 Personal Training certification (minimum)
• Strong leadership with proven success in recruitment, training and performance management
• Strategic, target-driven and results-oriented
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally
• Highly adaptable, hands-on and solutions-focused
• Passionate about fitness, with high standards of service delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a best-in-class fitness team, including trainers and staff
• Oversee scheduling of classes, PT sessions and gym floor support
• Maintain gym presentation, cleanliness and safety of equipment
• Drive member engagement and cross-referrals with Wellness, Spa and F&B teams
• Support budget targets, KPIs and revenue opportunities
• Monitor costs and optimize staffing to meet business needs
• Maintain safety standards and staff training on safety procedures
• Engage with members on the gym floor and uphold brand standards
