Job summary

The YMCA of Delaware, Middletown Family YMCA, is hiring a Member Experience & Sales Specialist to enhance the membership journey and deliver exceptional service at the Middletown location. You will drive membership sales, lead tours, train staff on programs, and participate in community outreach events.

A high school diploma and at least two years in sales or customer service are expected; willingness to work some evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
• Two (2) years of sales, customer service and/or related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales conversations with staff and consistently focus on closing membership sales through excellent tours and value driven conversations.
• Develops and delivers training on YMCA products and services.
• Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve sales and retention goals.
• Implement Welcome Center procedures.
• Deliver outstanding tours, tour tracking, scheduling of fitness orientations and onboarding for new members.
• Represent the YMCA at Community Outreach events (may include nights and weekends).
