Job summary

The Middletown Family YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Member Service Representative to deliver exceptional member experiences at our Middletown, DE location. The role focuses on customer service, information provision, and welcoming visitors to programs and services.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries in person, by phone, or email; resolving membership issues; and supporting a friendly, diverse community. Stand for periods, assist with tours, and perform general office tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Part-time role; ability to stand and interact with members.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficient with computers and office routines.
• Experience in customer service or sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent customer service experience to members and prospects.
• Manage large amounts of incoming calls.
• Engage members to build trust through open communication.
• Interact in person, by phone, or email to share information about membership, programs and services.
• Address membership complaints with timely solutions and follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with tours and other duties as assigned.
