The YMCA of the Triangle is seeking a Part-Time, non-exempt Member Engagement Specialist in Apex, NC. The role focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere, driving sales, and connecting members to programs that reflect the Y’s mission.

Weekly shifts include Wednesdays 8 a.m.–12 noon and Thursdays 4:45 a.m.–8 a.m. The position requires customer service excellence and basic computer skills to manage transactions and member connectivity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 1–2 years in customer service or sales.
• Professional, welcoming demeanor and customer-focused.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist members to build relationships.
• Drive sales and process transactions at the Welcome Center.
• Lead tours and guide members through programs.
• Support desk staff and maintain branch protocols.
• Open/close operations, weekend shifts as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as member advocate.
