Job summary

The YMCA seeks a Member Experience Representative to boost member engagement, growth and retention. You will greet members and guests, conduct tours, and explain membership benefits, while connecting them with wellness staff for a welcoming orientation.

Responsibilities include processing IDs, guest passes, and registrations, handling inquiries, and supporting the Annual Giving Campaign. Strong customer service and verbal communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age to be considered.
• Associate’s degree, two years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all members, potential members and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
• Conduct tours with prospective members, explaining benefits of membership and YMCA values.
• Meet regularly with wellness staff to coordinate new member orientations.
• Process new member IDs, issue guest passes and register members for services and programs.
• Respond to phone inquiries and follow YMCA best practices.
