Job summary

Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club in Harbor Springs, MI, seeks a part-time Receptionist year-round. You will be the first point of contact for members and guests, handling calls, greeting visitors, and recording reservations. Evening dinner shifts, weekends, and some day shifts are required.

The role offers on-site work with potential to advance to full-time year-round with benefits, plus employee meals, golf access, and merchandise discounts. Strong communication and customer service are key.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information and taking messages.
• Greet members and guests, determine purpose of visit and direct or escort them as needed.
• Record dining and special event reservations.
• Coordinate general maintenance requests/concerns.
• Ensure clubhouse lamps are on and décor is in place.
• Track staff movements in and out of the organization.
• Take to-go orders.
• Tidy and maintain the reception area.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
