Job summary

Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club is hiring a part-time receptionist year-round. The role involves serving as the first point of contact for members, handling calls, greeting guests, and recording reservations. Evening and weekend shifts are required, with meals and golf perks included.

Starting pay is hourly and competitive, based on experience, with additional tips on to-go orders. Room for advancement into full-time year-round with benefits is available.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information and taking messages.
• Greet members and guests entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
• Record dining & special event reservations.
• Coordinate general maintenance requests/concerns.
• Take to-go orders.
• Tidy and maintain the reception area.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
