Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate in New York to provide a superior guest experience in a Judgement Free Zone. You will greet members, assist with questions, and promote our welcoming culture on the club floor while supporting membership activity and store operations.

You will handle check-ins, inquiries, and basic administrative tasks, ensuring clean facilities and friendly, professional service. This role emphasizes teamwork and customer care in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with questions during check-in.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members and supporting fitness journeys.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager when needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Perform membership related functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
