Job summary

The Lighthouse, part of Whalar Group, seeks a friendly PT Receptionist in Venice, CA. You will welcome members, handle inquiries, manage check-ins, book meeting rooms, and support events while collaborating with Valet, Security, and campus leadership.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in hospitality or customer service, strong communication, and a willingness to learn CRM systems like Peoplevine. Evening and weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hospitality or customer service.
• Willing to learn CRM platforms, especially Peoplevine.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong communication and relationship-building.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• A degree or certificate in arts, media production or hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests upon arrival, providing a warm and professional welcome.
• Impeccable understanding of campus operations to support inquiries and events information.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the reception area, including check-ins and room bookings.
• Assist with day-of-event tasks, including setup and check-in for large brand events.
• Become experts on navigating our CRM platform, Peoplevine.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the member experience and address issues.
• Foster connections and creativity among members with empathy and energy.
• Support leadership on projects and process improvements.
