Job summary

The Lighthouse in Venice, CA, part of Whalar Group, seeks a PT Receptionist to warmly welcome members and guests, manage front desk operations, and support events. You’ll collaborate with Valet, Security, and leadership to ensure smooth campus experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management platforms and applications.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to spark connections.
• Excellent communication.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• A degree or certificate in the arts or media production or hospitality is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests upon arrival, providing a warm and professional welcome.
• Understand campus operations to help with inquiries and event information.
• Manage reception area operations: check-ins, meeting room scheduling, and communication with Valet, Security, and leadership.
• Assist with day-of-event tasks, including setup and check-in for large-scale brand events.
• Become experts on navigating our CRM platform, Peoplevine.
• Collaborate with team to enhance the member experience and address issues.
• Foster connections and creativity among members with empathy and joy.
• Execute surprise and delight moments for members and guests.
• Collaborate on projects and process improvements with leadership.
