Job summary

Peninsula Jewish Community Center in Foster City, CA is seeking a Service Desk Representative to welcome members, check in guests, answer calls, and promote club services. This front-line role focuses on responsive customer service, assisting with retail purchases, and guiding new members to the Member Sales Department.

You will work as part of the team, maintain logs, handle lost and found, and support safety and club programs.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented, organized and highly responsive with a commitment to customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic accounting skills, customer service skills, results oriented, basic computer skills, ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and efficiently handles the check-in process.
• Answers telephone and fields calls.
• Schedules massage appointments in person or by phone.
• Assists members with purchases of retail goods and club services.
• Presents membership information to prospective members and refers to Member Sales Department.
• Works as a team with all other departments.
• Promotes club services and activities.
• Keeps the club well stocked and clean.
• Maintains communication log and lost & found ledger.
• Handles member injury and illness incident reporting.
