Qualifications

• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required within 60 days of hire.
• Gallagher and Praesidium training required within 60 days of hire; renew yearly.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups in the community.
• Preferred: 2 years of customer service or sales experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in-person and over the phone, enhancing retention.
• Conduct informative interviews and provide tailored tours to potential members; promote and sell memberships.
• Foster meaningful connections, encouraging engagement within the YMCA community.
• Effectively manage and resolve membership inquiries, escalating complex issues to supervisors as needed.
• Adhere to YMCA policies related to member services.
• Maintain oversight of locker room facilities per guidelines.
• Contribute to membership growth initiatives through proactive engagement and promotion.
• Comply with training requirements to uphold standards and personal development.
