Job summary

Guardian Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative to accurately process transactions in-branch, at the drive-thru, or by phone, and to provide friendly, confidential assistance to members.

You will open new accounts, advise on products, assist with consumer loans, and seek cross-training opportunities to improve service while helping the branch meet its goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Up to 6 months of related experience including time spent in preparatory positions.

Responsibilities

• Processes transactions, answers inquiries and resolves problems or discrepancies with member accounts.
• Maintains knowledge of credit union processes to assist members and coaches others as needed.
• Identifies and recommends products and services to benefit members and educate them about options.
• Works toward branch and credit union goals while ensuring quality service.
• Troubleshoots and resolves member inquiries and informs members of status.
• Follows security procedures and protects confidential information.
