Job summary

UFCU Main is seeking a Personal Banker in Austin to act as a trusted ambassador, delivering exceptional Member service by handling transactions, answering questions, and resolving account issues of moderate complexity. You will identify Members’ financial needs and propose suitable solutions while supporting branch operations and community engagement.

You will contribute to UFCU’s purpose to empower Members to achieve financial success and build brighter futures, participating in external events

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience in a team environment.
• Lending experience is preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to Members.
• Open consumer deposit accounts and Certificates of Deposit.
• Process loan applications and financial transactions.
• Review and discuss credit reports with Members.
• Refer Members to internal business partners as needed.
• Assist with fraud disputes and account-related requests.
