Job summary

University Federal Credit Union is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional Member service by accurately processing transactions, answering questions, and resolving account-related issues of moderate complexity. You will engage Members in a consultative process, identify financial needs, and recommend suitable solutions while supporting UFCU’s community initiatives and branch events.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in a team environment.
Lending experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, courteous service to Members and resolve account-related questions.
Open consumer deposit accounts and Certificates of Deposit.
Process loan applications and financial transactions; read and review credit reports with Members.
Refer Members to internal business partners to address needs and opportunities.
Provide notary and safe deposit box services; assist with fraud disputes as needed.
Host tables and participate in events, including SEG engagements; support branch operations.
