Job summary

SkyPoint FCU is seeking a Member Service Specialist to provide exceptional service at our Maryland branch. You will handle member transactions, open and maintain accounts, and promote available products and services to meet member needs.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy with numbers, and a collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment. It includes potential branch rotations and a path toward professional growth within the credit union.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience.
• Experience in member/customer service preferably in a call center, retail banking or financial institution.
• Experience in working in a credit union/bank environment.

Responsibilities

• Give prompt, efficient, and accurate service; processes all member transactions.
• Open new membership and perform maintenance on accounts including IRAs and business accounts.
• Counsel and educate members on financial matters and available products/services.
• Use tact and experience-based knowledge to research and resolve member inquiries with professionalism.
• Provide member technical assistance for online, mobile & telephone banking, Bill Payment, and other eServices.
• Float to support other branches.
