Retro Fitness Jersey City is hiring for a Full Time Front Desk position at the Hudson Mall location. The role is the welcoming face of the club, focused on delivering a positive member experience, driving memberships, and handling day-to-day member inquiries.

As a Front Desk team member, you will greet members, resolve issues, and support store operations. Working shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a requirement to stay well-groomed and follow Retro Fitness policies.

Qualifications

• Requires a positive upbeat personality.
• Strong ability to communicate with customers, coworkers and managers.
• Must be able to multi-task and stay organized.
• Customer service oriented with attention to detail.
• Punctual and reliable; CPR/AED training preferred.
• Prior sales or retail experience is a plus.
• Successful completion of Retro University courses.
• Work environment is inside the Retro Fitness outlet; shifts vary (mornings, evenings, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in members as they arrive.
• Resolve member issues in a timely manner.
• Drive membership sales and retention efforts.
• Follow up with prospects for potential memberships.
• Sell in-store merchandise (Retro Blends, drinks, Pro Shop items).
• Maintain a safe and clean facility for members and staff.
• Perform downtime tasks as directed by management (upkeep, walkthroughs).
• Open and close the facility as scheduled.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
