Job summary

Sunmark Federal Credit Union's Guilderland Financial Center is hiring a universal associate to deliver legendary service to members and guide them through our credit union services. Training will be at the Latham office, with rotating hours and a 36–40 hour week. Starting pay is $19.50–$20 per hour based on experience.

Primary duties include assisting members, handling transactions, vault and cash management, and providing product information while supporting branch goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience handling cash and delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a member liaison, supporting member convenience with all credit union technology available.
• Supports member transactions through use of Interactive Teller Machines.
• Accurately processes transactions as required: loan payments, cash advances, transfers, bonds, and insurance payments.
• Performs transfers and credit card payments; manages vault duties including cash shipment verification, balancing, and settlement.
• Provides product and advisory information; researches and resolves member questions and complaints.
• Assists management in maintaining culture and achieving sales referral goals; conducts consumer account openings, verifies IDs and explains/legal documents.
