YMCA Providence is seeking a Welcome Center Representative for a part-time role in Providence, RI. The position involves providing membership information, promoting programs, and handling registrations in a fast-paced YMCA environment.

This role supports the Member Services Coordinator/Director, with shifts across 7 days and up to 20 hours per week. CPR/First Aid and OSHA certifications should be completed within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred; no specific experience required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications to be obtained within 30 days of employment and kept up to date.
• OSHA Training, Child Care Prevention, Listen First required within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provide information about memberships and programs to members.
• Promote and sell memberships and programs.
• Process all membership, camp, program, and child care registrations.
• Answer calls professionally and manage inquiries.
• Reconcile end-of-shift money from sales.
• Provide general administrative support (typing, data entry, photocopying, faxing).
• Greet members by name and maintain YMCA values.
