Job summary

Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA is seeking a Welcome Center Advisor I to greet members, answer phones, process registrations, and support membership engagement. You will help set a positive tone at check-in, assist with tours, and collaborate with team members to improve member acquisition and retention.

The role requires a friendly, energetic, and dependable individual who can balance guest service with administrative tasks while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in fast-paced environments preferred.
• Ability to greet members warmly and manage sign-in/out procedures.
• Comfort with giving tours and processing registrations.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a smile and follow sign-in procedures.
• Handle multi-line phone calls and provide accurate information on programs.
• Process registrations and memberships, including cancellations and refunds.
• Promote safety and adhere to Tampa YMCA policies and procedures.
• Support membership sales goals through tours and outreach to prospective members.
