The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA is seeking a Welcome Center Advisor I at our Florida facility. You will greet members, handle check-in, answer calls, process registrations, and support tours to drive membership.

This part-time, nonexempt role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols, with ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Strong communication and problem-solving help you succeed; prior customer service in fast-paced settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a welcoming check-in and sign-in/out.
• Answer calls on multiple lines and assist with program registrations.
• Process memberships and program transactions.
• Support member engagement and retention initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe front desk and assist other staff as needed.
