Job summary

Verve, a Credit Union, seeks a Member Experience Advisor I to serve as a member ambassador across in-person, phone, and digital channels. You will process transactions, open and service deposit accounts, and take applications for credit cards and unsecured loans, explaining features and regulatory terms clearly.

You will identify opportunities to deepen relationships and support Verve's growth while ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six (6) months of customer service, retail banking, or cash handling experience.
• Basic knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment.
• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, check cashing, and official checks.
• Verify endorsements, signatures, and proper identification; maintain confidentiality.
• Open and close standard consumer deposit accounts and manage beneficiaries as requested.
• Explain account features and regulatory terms in clear, member-friendly language.
• Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and support Verve's growth objectives.
• Balance cash drawer, process ATM/ night deposit and mail transactions; follow security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements; complete annual training.
