Job summary

YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a Member Engagement Representative to deliver exceptional on-site member service, build supportive relationships, and guide members toward programs that fit their goals, including enrollment support.

In this role you will help members with registrations, answer questions, and contribute to member retention. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to support a diverse community.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of relevant work experience (sales, retail, reception, customer service, etc.).
• Strong customer service skills across phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive relationships by providing prompt and courteous service to members, participants and guests.
• Conducts membership interviews, enrolls new members and provides motivational support and guidance.
• Assists members with program registration and answers inquiries about memberships and programs.
• Balances and completes reports for financial transactions.
• Supports member engagement and retention activities of the branch.
