Job summary

The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, located on the Upper West Side, seeks an Engagement Associate to serve as the primary frontline ambassador for members, guests, and program participants. You will create a welcoming, informed, and seamless experience that reflects our hospitality values.

This holistic role spans Membership and program areas—Fitness, Camp, Nursery School—requiring tech fluency and a collaborative spirit to build lasting relationships and drive customer excellence across all

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 2-3 years in customer service, membership services, or related areas.
• Experience in telemarketing, sales, events, or community center ops strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver welcoming, multi-channel communication (in-person, phone, email) and manage lobby flow.
• Provide high-touch support for membership, pricing, and tours.
• Process registrations, payments, changes; manage ticketing workflows.
• Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and daily reconciliations.
• Maintain CRM records and participant data with accuracy.
