Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a team member for merchandise protection, member service, and safety responsibilities at our Maryland club. You’ll monitor entry/exit, uphold store policies, and assist members with a friendly, efficient attitude.

Responsibilities include applying club procedures, ensuring safety, and supporting various departments as needed. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to work as part of a fast-paced retail team.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are required.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Ability to use a smart handheld device.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Must be employed with the company for at least 6 months.
• Age requirements vary by state (e.g., Indiana, Delaware).

Responsibilities

• Delivers superior member service at entry/exit points.
• Maintains merchandise protection procedures and shrink alerts.
• Inspects bags and belongings as members leave the building.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including cross-department work.
• Maintains safe and positive environment for members and team.
