Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union in Jenison, MI is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor to serve as a trusted financial consultant for members, guiding them through product options and cross-selling loans, cards, and other services while building lasting relationships.

You’ll set up new accounts, process loans, and handle transactions with accuracy, while complying with policies and regulatory requirements in a fully on-site, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Michigan Resident Producer Credit Insurance License required.
• External candidates must complete licensing exam within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to register through NMLS and obtain notary certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members.

Responsibilities

• Promote strong member interactions with a consultative approach.
• Cross-sell products such as loans and credit cards while meeting branch goals.
• Process new accounts, loans, and other financial transactions with accuracy.
• Resolve member inquiries and maintain high levels of service and compliance.
• Refer members to other departments to enhance satisfaction and branch growth.
