Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor to act as a financial consultant and advocate for our members. You will cross-sell products, open accounts, process loans, and deliver exceptional service while building long-term member relationships.

You will coordinate with consumer and business clients, meet individual and branch goals, and ensure accuracy and compliance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; banking experience preferred.
• Licensure and notary certification required or achievable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative financial guidance to members and cross-sell LMCU products.
• Set up new accounts, process loans, and assist with a variety of products while building relationships.
• Educate members on products and services and help meet branch goals.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and security standards.
• Resolve member issues with professionalism and empathy.
• Support branch operations and peak-time coverage as needed.
