Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a Belonging and Well-Being Champion at the North Valley Family YMCA in Porter Ranch, CA. This role blends member engagement, wellness coaching, and sales to welcome all, connect members to programs, and promote healthy living and inclusion.

The position is part time up to 29 hours with an hourly rate of $18.47. Responsibilities include onboarding, goal setting, and driving membership growth in a fast-paced community YMCA setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Experience in membership sales, customer service, or wellness coaching is desirable.
• CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests and foster an inclusive environment.
• Promote YMCA memberships, programs, and services; conduct tours and outreach.
• Assist members with wellness goals and connect to appropriate programs.
• Process memberships and registrations accurately and maintain data integrity.
• Uphold safety, confidentiality, and YMCA policies.
