Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Houston seeks a Project Director to lead the development and execution of the project management plan for one or more mega and/or super mega projects. You will manage contracting, controls, quality, risk and change while delivering client value and building long-term relationships.

The role requires mentoring staff, leading multidisciplinary teams, and guiding program delivery across Greater Houston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 12 years of relevant experience including 4 years experience successfully managing and delivering mega and/or super mega projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains key client relationships and serves as primary company contact on assigned projects.
• Oversees financial performance on projects and manages cash, budget, schedule, and scope.
• Leads staffing, recruitment, development, retention and performance reviews for project staff.
• Staff projects according to the Work Plan and collaborates with leadership to solve challenges.
• Leads pursuits of mega and super mega projects and supports business development.
