Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Meeting & Events Coordinator in New York to assist with the coordination and execution of small to medium meetings, conferences, and events within the Workplace Experience function.

You will be the primary contact for smaller meetings, collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members to coordinate guest services, signage, and security. You will also manage room turnover, AV troubleshooting, and post-event reconciliation under supervision.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for smaller meetings and events; support larger events as needed.
  • Coordinate guest services with clients, vendors, and team members (arrival, transportation, signage, displays, accessibility, printing, security).
  • Create a hospitable environment for attendees, event owners, and vendors on event day.
  • Assist with conference room turnover and room configurations for different spaces.
  • Handle event activities such as supplies, equipment, food and beverage, and security needs.
  • Conduct room checks and troubleshoot audio/visual issues; ensure spaces are functional.
  • Manage a small inventory of event supplies and coordinate master calendar for small to medium spaces.
  • Assist with post-event reporting and escalation of issues as needed.
