Job summary

The Technical Sales Manager will have an independent area of responsibility while working closely with our global organization. This position will develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow sales among existing customers and identify new business opportunities.

The position combines technical solution selling, business development, customer relationship management, and collaboration across a global, matrix-based organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in capital equipment sales.
• 50% travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for pharmaceutical packaging equipment.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers and identify growth opportunities.
• Prospect for new customers, markets, and business opportunities.
• Manage the full cycle sales process.
• Communicate benefits and value of solutions to customers and stakeholders.
• Drive sales projects within a matrix organization.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, pipelines, and customer documentation.
• Monitor market developments and emerging trends in pharma.
