Job summary

IQVIA is hiring a Solution Sales Specialist in Carlsbad, CA and other U.S. locations to drive new business for a product specialty. You will provide product expertise, lead sales efforts, and close deals across existing and new accounts.

Responsibilities include developing account plans, collaborating with customer teams, presenting proposals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requires strong presentation skills, 8+ years in sales, and travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years relevant sales or account management experience.
• Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical industry marketplace issues.
• Knowledge of IQVIA specialty products and client business processes improved by IQVIA solutions.
• Excellent presentation and writing skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Achieves growth and revenue targets for assigned product using a consultative sales approach.
• Fortifies knowledge of product and its enterprise applications.
• Participates in account planning strategy with Account Directors.
• Collaborates with Customer Team to target opportunities for assigned customers/territory.
• Creates and presents client proposals to win sales.
• Manages resources to develop proposals that position IQVIA capabilities and solutions.
• Monitors delivery, implementation, and customer satisfaction.
• Identifies starburst opportunities to expand IQVIA offerings.
• Gathers market intelligence and provides feedback to Marketing/Consulting/Sales.
