Job summary

Syntegon Technology GmbH is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to independently manage a defined territory while collaborating with a global organization. The role focuses on growing sales among existing customers and identifying new business opportunities through technical solution selling and strategic account management.

Travel to customer sites across the West Coast is required, with no fixed office location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in capital equipment sales.
• 50% Travel Domestically and Internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies and go-to-market initiatives for pharmaceutical packaging equipment.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for account growth.
• Prospect for and develop new customers, markets, and business opportunities.
• Manage the full cycle sales process.
• Communicate the technical benefits, commercial value, and competitive advantages of solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive sales projects effectively within a matrix organization.
• Set sales goals, establish priorities, and follow through on strategic initiatives.
• Manage, support, and develop customers in partnership with the regional sales managers.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and customer documentation.
• Monitor market developments, customer requirements, competitor activity, and emerging trends within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with customers and business partners.
