Job summary

Syntegon Technology is regionally based for a West Coast customer footprint and requires significant travel to sites across the West Coast. The Regional Sales Manager will lead strategic initiatives to grow sales among existing customers and identify new business opportunities within pharmaceutical packaging equipment.

The role combines technical solution selling with business development, reporting to a global, matrix-based organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of capital equipment sales experience.
• 50% travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience with B2B project sales and marketing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for pharmaceutical packaging equipment.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for growth.
• Prospect for and develop new customers and markets.
• Manage full cycle sales process.
• Communicate technical benefits and commercial value to customers and stakeholders.
• Drive sales projects within a matrix organization.
• Set sales goals, priorities, and follow through on initiatives.
• Maintain forecasts, pipelines, and customer documentation.
• Monitor market developments and competitor activity.
