Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovation seeks an R&D Co-op in the Wound Closure & Healing group in Raritan, NJ. You will participate in hands-on lab work and PLM activities for medical device projects, building test methods, and drafting protocols in a collaborative setting.

You will work with engineers and suppliers, develop prototypes, and perform data analysis to support product development and regulatory activities, while communicating findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university during the co-op session.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field.
• Freshman year completed or above preferred.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Co-op session.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership or campus/community involvement is desired.
• Strong organization and multitasking ability.
• Comfortable working independently and on a team.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on laboratory work in chemistry or engineering labs.
• Perform studies and develop test methods and fixtures.
• Manage Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for medical devices and combos.
• Document test protocols, reports, and meeting minutes.
• Create models and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Data generation, analysis, and statistics with Minitab.
• Prototype crafting and evaluation.
• Participate in VOC labs and collaborate with engineers and suppliers.
