Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery in Raritan, NJ is recruiting for a Wound Closure & Healing (WC&H) or Biosurgery Engineering Co-Op. You will support NPD, process development and qualification, equipment design and qualification, and portfolio management across WC&H and Biosurgery platforms.

This internship provides mentoring, cross-functional exposure, housing assistance, and structured assignments, with opportunities to collaborate with professional engineers and build a broad network.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited college/university
• Preferred majors are: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, and Polymer Science and Engineering
• Must have transportation to and from work daily
• Completion of at least a first year of undergraduate academic program
• Demonstrated leadership is preferred
• Must be able to balance multiple projects and maintain organization
• Must have the ability to work individually as well as on a team
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Excel
• A minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 is required
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US
• Proficient in Minitab, Tableau

Responsibilities

• Write and execute process development protocols and reports.
• Organize and submit process development samples for testing.
• Collect, analyze, & report process data.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to support key projects.
• Lead small technical projects and process changes.
• Support local community through the Credo inspired events and activities.
