Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a 2027 Co-op/Intern in New Product Development at the Raritan, NJ site. You will join a collaborative team to advance wound closure technologies and antibacterial solutions, supporting prototype testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited university for duration of internship.
• GPA 2.8+; 3.0+ preferred.
• Pursuing Mechanical, Biomedical, Materials or Chemical Engineering.
• Sophomore–Senior student in active school year.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on lab work in engineering laboratories.
• Assist in designing and evaluating novel medical device builds.
• Participate in VOC labs with surgeons and document outputs.
• Develop test protocols and generate final reports with good documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and suppliers on project activities.
• Generate 3D models and print fixtures for test methods.
