Accenture's Life Sciences MedTech practice seeks a Principal Director who has built and run a successful practice and is ready to scale at Accenture. You will own a defined segment of our MedTech R&D growth agenda: setting the strategy, building the team, originating and closing major client engagements, and being accountable for the P&L.

AI fluency is central to how you lead and what you sell. This leadership role requires deep R&D lifecycle expertise, a proven track record in business

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years in MedTech R&D industry with lifecycle expertise.
• Minimum of 10 years in management consulting or MedTech firm with track record in BD and leadership.
• Minimum of 10 years owning or leading an organization with P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or health-related field; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined segment of Accenture's MedTech R&D practice, including revenue targets, headcount, and margin.
• Set market strategy, prioritize clients, and differentiate Accenture's offering.
• Originate and close transformational engagements with C-suite/R&D leaders.
• Design and deploy AI-enabled solutions to accelerate product development and data-driven R&D.
• Manage executive client relationships and position Accenture as a long-term partner.
• Lead thought leadership and market positioning through publications and events.
• Build and develop the MedTech R&D leadership pipeline within the practice.
• Travel up to 75% to client locations.
