Job summary

IQVIA MedTech is seeking a field service technician to troubleshoot, repair and update medical devices in hospitals nationwide in a part-time capacity. The role involves traveling with an on-site team and building hands-on expertise in hardware and software installations.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of related technical experience and be comfortable with Windows OS and standard software tools. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year related technical experience required.
3+ years’ experience in field technical role with focus on both hardware and software installations preferred.
Experience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT is preferred.
Prior military veterans with experience in an electronics, maintenance, or IT related MOS encouraged to apply!
Professional business acumen including communication and soft skills required.
Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system.
Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision required.

Responsibilities

Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices, installing, and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.
Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation and configuration.
Manage project timelines and customer needs.
