Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS is seeking a part-time Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and update medical devices across the United States with on-site support. The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and timely coordination with customers and healthcare facilities.

Applicants should have 1+ year in a technical role and 3+ years in field service with hardware/software installation experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year related technical experience required.
3+ years’ experience in field technical role with focus on hardware and software installations preferred.
Experience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, electrical, IT or related roles preferred.
Prior military veterans with electronics/maintenance/IT MOS encouraged to apply
Professional business acumen including communication and soft skills required
Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system
Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices
Ability to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices, installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.
Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
