Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS is seeking Field Service Technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and update medical devices in hospitals across the United States, with on-site support.

You will coordinate with healthcare professionals, manage hardware/software installations, and travel nationally with a flexible, part-time schedule to grow in the medical device field while earning supplemental income. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related technical experience required.
• 3+ years’ experience in field technical role with focus on hardware and software installations preferred.
• Experience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT is preferred.
• Prior military veterans encouraged to apply.
• Professional business acumen including communication and soft skills required.
• Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating system.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision required.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices, installing, and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
• Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.
• Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Manage project timelines and customer needs.
