Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for Pyxis automated dispensing systems across the assigned region, including DoD/DHA facilities. The role requires troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will live near the service territory, possess a valid driver's license, and be comfortable with up to 25% overnight travel and daily field dispatches.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of combined hardware, software, and IT support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and documentation abilities.
• May require eligibility for access to sensitive facilities and background checks.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, and calibrations.
• Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and company assets.
• Document service activities and time logs, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales and Implementation teams to support deployments.
